Google Has New Mobile Ad Formats
Mobile advertising will continue to play a major role in Google's revenue going forward. While the jury is still out, so to speak, on the proposed acquisition of AdMob, Google has been placing a great deal of emphasis here at Google I/O on the fact that it already knows a think or two about advertising. In fact, AdMob really hasn't come up a whole lot in the discussions that I've been witness to.

As long as it becomes easy to run an ecommerce site from mobile then I think it makes sense to target mobile customers. On some other phones you would not only have to get them to click the ad, but then remember it long enough to get to their main computer/desktop/laptop. This market should only prove to get even bigger as the 4g, etc gets faster and more accessible.
