Thread: Bing takes second position in search engine

The reported data from monitoring service StatCounter suggests that Bing, Microsofts new search decision engine, has overtaken Yahoo Search as the number two search service in United State and worldwide in large part thanks to stealing market share from leader Google. The possible reasons for this happening may be due to the fact that, people want another search option other than Google and Bing serves that need or Bing is just better than Yahoo?

StatCounter claims to measure the search and browsing behavior of over two million users and says it tracks in excess of ten billion pageloads per month over its network of three million websites.

They should do a good job but will need to work harder to get anywhere near Google. Google will always remain number 1.

Its will not be an easy task to defeat Google from number one potion.

Microsoft has the money to do what they want, they already topped Yahoo, I like Bing, I think its cool to see a search engine that can actually compete with Google.

Yes we need a search engine that can compete with Google, bing can do that, if Microsoft is willing to spend money on it. The Monopoly of Google in search engine have to be beak one way or the other. But it will be very different to cash up with Google in search engine...
