Thread: How many blog posts per day?

How many blog posts a day would you say is the limit? Obviously you can't submit too many blog posts or you will saturate your blog with too much data.

So, as a blog owner, do you hold yourself to a certain number of posts per day?
And as a reader, is there a limit to the number of posts you are willing to read daily from a blog?

I submit 5-6 posts to my blog everyday. I think this is the best way to attract search engine spiders. Everyhour 1 post. Total 5 or 6 posts everyday.

Interesting, probably more posts than I was expecting. Why is that number the best way to attract the spiders?

Either you go for quantity or quality.

Blogs with a fair amount of quality posts will be index correctly as well.

Recently I have time to write about 10 blogposts per year. I write when have something to say. I'm considering to launch a new blog for about offline life. That could be updated more often, since I am full of stories :)

i think at least once a week or once a day that's good for your blog as long as it's updated :D

Use common sense guys. I learned spiders will come even if you not post every hour.

I do not make a specific number , I add them as I get them.

i think that's too much :D

i think 1-2 post per day or per week is good enough for the blog :D

I would have thought a daily update would be the way to go. That way, people can add it to their daily routine a lot easier. :)
