Linux not used much
Linux is used on a VERY wide scale, Microsoft Updates website runs on a RedHat server running apache, as do most web servers due to consistant uptimes and reliability.
Linux is just not plugged and advertised so much as Microsoft products so people remain ignornat Another example of this is the iPod, While it is a decent player, in my oppinion there are far better products for way cheaper, yet Apple advertise so much people assume it is the best. Pixar also use Linux clusters to do rendering, Google round to see where it is used, you may be suprised Peace
