Mail server
There are many. Some are free, some arent. Most commercially available distros have this as an install option so shouldnt be much hassle
Check the distribution of your choice to see if it comes with one. I know that KUbuntu, Mandriva and Suse come with one on the CD/DVD peace

Its all down to config really
Linux can run like a dog if you config it badly, just like windows Linux is well known for its uptime and lack for needing a restart meaning more uptime for companies Each have advantages Peace
