I do not know how many of you have heard about the spam bug that has been discovered in Bing this week by the people at Webroot Software. They have discovered a bug that allow to direct people to spam web sites trough the search engine redirection system.
This technique has been used because of how Bing formed links in RSS feeds. The redirect is hidden, added to the end of the Bing URL and that has allow to bypass all the spam filters.
Microsoft announced on Wednesday that they are working to fix this problem. As an official opinion from Microsoft, these was what a Micrisoft representative said: "We were testing new features to improve the search experience for our customers, and during our testing, we found a bug that was causing this issue. We are taking immediate action and expect a fix in the next 48 hours."
