Thread: Critical update for Internet Explorer

After December’s atack on Google and other 20 big companies from diferent areas, german and french governments adviced the population not to use anymore Internet Explorer.
Microsoft announced that this exploit, codenamed AURORA ( CVE-2010-0249) will be fixed by their latest critical update, found on their website or installed with auto-updates. This exploit is a Remote Code Execution type and acts like this:
Through Internet Explorer users access a file that when it runs it installs a backdoor that allow the hacker to gain total control on your machine. Very nasty, indeed, but it seems that Microsoft solved this problem.
Or at least that’s what they say, anyway, you should check for this update if you’re still using IE as Internet browser.

Me dislike IE. They make my development very hard because they will not standardize with all the other broswers.

One of the requirments of my software is Any non IE browser... because I cant and dont have the time to figure out the special CSS requirements to make it cross browser perfect.

I hate it too, I'm into Firefox, but still, there are a lot of users that are using IE instead of other browsers, don't know why actually, but those are the real facts. :)
