Thread: Norton Anti Virus

Since having this software on my laptop , I have not been able to have the freedom of the net, inserting links etc , is becoming a nightmare the software levels are not high and I quite frankly am starting to think I am better off without it , Any suggestions?

Why don't you use NOD32. I think you can do stuffs if you put this antivirus. It's quite faster than Norton too.

Well I have had a really bad experience with antivirus softwares especially norton anti virus. The thing is that they make your computer slow. I am not using an anti virus software nowadays.

I have never had a problem with my computer since I uninstalled anti virus.

Well, yes scfc16. You are right. It will be too much risky while surfing websites or downloading anything. The related item which you download or surf a website can be a virus.

Norton Anti Virus consumes more RAM, so it makes the PC slow. You can put some light and effective Anti virus as I have already mentioned like NOD32.
