Is it safe to save passwords online?
I use Firefox and whenever I login somewhere Firefox asks to save passwords in its password manager or not. And I just allow it to save my passwords there.
But is it safe?
Can firefox send these passwords to anyone else. Any idea?

Absolutely. The passwords are stored in your profile so they are protected by your system logon. This security is removed if your PC autologs on, in which case anyone can power on your system and read all your passwords from firefox's config
Tools -> options -> security tab -> show passwords button
The stored passwords are encrypted pretty good so no worries there but autologin lets them be read by anyone
hope this helps
Peace

Although it's safe to save passwords online because these are encrypted, I actually don't do this especially when I'm not working on my personal computer.
