Help I Can't Browse

I have a two computers in my LAN network but recently I cannot browse the net.
If I ping the IP it replies but not the domain name of the site. Now Even though my WinXP is connected to the network no browser works.
Please help if you have any idea of what is going on.

This was resolved after deleting the winsock2 file in the registry.
We reboot and check the tcp/ip protocol in the network card and
now all is fine and clean .

The winsock2 file was virused, or why did you have to remove it?

How did you figure this out?
Did you just boot up the XP disc and do an OS repair?

Well, I'm glad you got it fixed and up running, hopefully you didn't delete something you needed lol
