Google position advise

Hi,

I have two russian dating sites, one I have been promoting heavy, within a few months i was on page 1 in google and did make it to no 1 position with keyword "russian Brides" which is a hard job to do, I then used the sevices of a so called SEO expert to try to generate more traffic, hes been pretty crap , and he said he should change the meta tags in my home page, which i did not really want done, but i let him, problem since then i have been stuck at the top of page 2 in google and bing and finding it impossible to get back on the first page? could this be becouse he changed the meta tags?? would this do any damage?

The change in meta tags could be the reason, it could also be that one of your strongest backlinks is not longer there.
Perhaps. first put you old meta tags back and see how things develops.

ok well i will give it a week, i have done alot of workand see if i can get back in the top page, can changing the tags do alot?? the guy stuffed it with key words!! im new to this, but have still managed to get top positions in the search engines wsith the most competitive key words and competing against the biggest sites on line. is there any way I can check if i have good back links,? the way i got to the top so fast is by having 75 blogs, video channels and article submissions and updating them with new content every three days.
