Thread: Gem of a directory script - Arfooo

While doing some investigation about setting up a directory I found this really useful and best of all free directory script. It’s a product called Arfooo – three ooo’s – and does all the relevant basic tools that I can think of for a directory script.

It features advertising plugins so that you can place banner ads, and adverts in between your classifieds. It features a payment gateway able to handle paypal and subscription features.

As for support from it, there is a forum which holds a lot of answers to the questions you may come across when setting up. It’s easy to adjust the templates if you are confident with tinkering with php files and logos. Nothing too demanding there.

Do a Google for arfooo script and you’ll find it there. I hope someone finds it useful and if you have a directory using it, I’d be keen to hear how you are getting on.

will definitely check this out. will post when i get it up and running. will take some time though, seeing as how i am very busy. especially with my hosting business trying to get clients.
