Directories really worth it, because it gives backlink even if you submit with0PR.

Directory submission have already been proven its important over the number of years, and still it is very effective way for SEO professionals to garb the attention of crawlers. It is still an extensively viable one that can assist to get a website indexed by major search engines, drive traffic straight to your site, and boost your performance on search engine schedule.

I also think its worth, The back links comes from directory submission.

Yea they are dfinately worth it, you just havt to know which directories to submit to, if you submit to nothing but low PR sites, you won't really see a change in the SERPs.
But if you submit to high PR directories then yea they are worth it

Directory submissions are also a part of SEO campaign moreover it is the first step for conducting an SEO campaign, Submitting sites to various directories increases the chances of getting more backlinks. Though, you may ignore 0 PR directory sites and submit site to directories having good PR, It is one of the traditionally followed methods to get backlinks to the site.
Moreover, Let me say this earlier Directory submission was considered as the major source to get backlinks pointing to your site.
