Are directories really that useful anymore?
I can't say I'm entirely confident that directories really increase the worth of my sites anymore to be honest with you. At one point linkbacks and PR were seen as the bees knees of a website but that doesn't seem the case anymore. What do you think? Do you still submit to directories or have you given up on such things?

Well, I guess, submitting your site in different web directories can give you tons of backlinks but I don't think that it would be as effective as before...

Generally, the quality directories do cost a bit of money to submit to, as the free ones normally are full of low quality links.
