How to filter out spam from your directory?
I have a problem whereby I don't have the time to manually accept or decline every single submission to my directory, but if I run it as an automated system, it simply builds up a ton of spam, which means the directory is useless. Is there a way of combating this so that the chance of the automated system letting through a spam site is vastly declined?

If your directory software allows multiple users, assign usership to someone you trust to help manually verify websites that are spam.

Captcha is still effective if you don't have it yet. Also, you can use a plug in software that denies IPs that you marked as spamming.
