I have made a list of quality directories. These are working directories. I went through many free directory list ive seen, threw out the bad ones and compiled this list. It is on my forum.

WOW, that is one huge list of DEAD ON ARRIVAL directories

Some of them are dead already and the rest will be on domain expiration date.

The question I have is: why would someone waste time compile list of useless directories?

Are you insane? All of these directories work. Every single one. I have personally tested these within the last 2 weeks. And when I read your post I had thought maybe that some of them had died so I retried all of them and they all work.

Let me put it to you this way:
only insane would make another list among existing dozens of totally useless directories lists

Now, please point me to ONE "Quality" (please mind, I'm not asking HIGH) directory on your list
and then explain to us why is that you're calling that directory HIGH QUALITY

Enquiring mind wants to know

yep you are right 5 high quailty directories that are not going to die within 3 months are better then a 100 that will or get near zero visitors.
