Set your domain name which reflect your website theme and nature and if you are interested to optimize your site in search engines then try to push a keyword in your domain name which will help you to get rank in search engines in future.

Thats right, a domain name must be such that it gives an idea about the niche of your website. While registering a domain do make sure that the registrar provides you the domain control panel. It is largely observed that certain domain resellers keep the login details with themselves and charge you for making updates to the domain. You may instead register your domains with eNom, GoDaddy, Name.com etc. they are some of the highly reputed domain registrars in the industry, so it should be safe. ;)

- contain keywords
- descriptive with your website
- easy to remember
- no hyphen and dash
- try to reduce numbers in the domain
- use .com domain extension
- do not face any ********* issues

Try to go with .net or .org if .com is unavailable to you because Domain names are being bought up faster nowdays so try to register your domain name as soon you can. The more you delay in registering your domain name the lesser the options would be available to you. I think this is the most important factor people people ignore.

- Including kw in your domain name is ideal
- Easy and catchy to remember

.com is the general domain used, so you can go for it

Popularity of .com domains is so great that these days you hardly can find appropriate domain which is not registered yet.
