Thread: How to order a drop Domain name

Hello All,

Regardless of the hosting company, how long after the domain expires from a previous owner, assuming that there are no backorder or otherwise ownership of the domain after expiration, can the domain be purchased.

I have been trying to buy a domain that expired on the 3rd of January, but I still can't buy the domain.

You can actually try and backorder a domain name via a domain name registrar's auction, I know that Sibername.com offer this type of service at the auction page of their site.
