Global oil demand to fall in 2009

Demand for all on a global scale will fall this year according to International Energy Agency (IEA). Demand will decline by almost a million barrell per day, this represent a fall of just over .5% over 2008 figures. The decline was said to be due to the slow down in world economy.

This will not doubt be welcomed by environmental campaign organizations.
