Thread: Firefox Logo – The Secret Inspiration Unveiled!

We have all seen Firefox logo but how does it look like, again? If I have to explain according to my simple understanding I would say, the logo has an orange yellow fox who is trying to eat its tail round the blue globe like circle thing. Well that is not a big deal, every single one of us can come up with some really creative explanation as to what the Firefox logo looks like and what it is trying to depict but the big question is, where did Firefox people get the idea for this logo?
While browsing my favorite websites, I came across this image and the moment I saw it, the first thing that came into my mind was ‘Firefox logo.’ Looks quite similar, no? I was thinking for quite some time now that this whole idea of a fox eating its fire like tail is really creative and unique, but what thing in the world inspired them to come up with such an idea?

But this cannot be the correct theory as you see the posture of the creature is different from that in the firefox logo. But there is lot of resemblence
