Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has signed a new contract with the Gunners.
The 24-year-old Togo international was strongly linked with Barcelona and AC Milan this summer before announcing he would be staying at the Emirates.
Adebayor, who scored 30 goals in 48 games last season, only signed his previous contract in the summer of 2007 but has negotiated an improved deal.
A statement on Arsenal's website said: "We can confirm Emmanuel has signed a new long-term contract with the club."
The new deal, reported to be worth around £80,000 a week is set to tie the striker to the club until at least 2012.
