1. Replace all your lightbulbs with energy saving ones
2. Consider getting movement sensors to contol lights
3. Try to cycle rather than use your car

5. Don't use bottled water
6. Switch off appliances rather than putting them into standby

New fridges use about one third of the electricity compared to a ten year old fridge!
when not at home, lower the thermostat by 5 degrees and use a timer so that the temperature goes back up half hour before you come home

Try to limit your showers to 5 minutes/day. Not only will you save water, but the electricity of gas to heat the water as well.
