Thread: Is Google PR dead?

I noticed Google PR has not been working since yesterday, No PR for Google homepage or even BBC.
Maybe Google database is having some problems or Google PR is dead???

Does anyone else noticed this too...

From here in London PR works perfectly, I can see PR on BBC and Google homepage, perhaps something is wrong with your Google Toolbar?

I think the problem is not just from here, i later saw this post from Oh No! What Happened To My PageRank?

PageRank is still alive in the Toolbar but Google changed the lookup URL.

Not only PR gone from GTB, it's gone from every Webmaster's Tool we're running.

LOL, maybe God finally decided to send some mercy on us...
nah that scenario would be too good to be true.

Its quite strage, I have been reading about this all over the web BUT my tool bar PR works perfectly, I wonder why ?

Can you go to and to use "Check Your Domain Name Strength" tool to see if IP will come up for you in there.

Just curious what will happen.

Yep, it looks like GTB's PR is back

Apparently G. implemented totally new system and now they have added Page Rank tool Backlinks and Related Sites options in drop down menu.

I guess now we have to fix all our scripts to G. new system.

I have strong doubts PR matters at least the same rate as it used to. Google has changed everything but none was informed.
