Thread: Earning money from posting.

There seem to be pay to post sites springing up everywhere, telling you that you can earn cash by posting there. The general idea is that you end up clicking their ads, so they can earn the money to pay you.

While it sounds like a good idea in principle, it seems that all of the sites that actually pay will end up going under and the sites that do work pay very poorly. What are your experiences with these PTP sites?

I have only joined one in my time, about a year ago, and earned $20 from it within a few days, then didn't go back again. I found out the other day it had just gone under after owing about $2000 in unpaid posts. So, I'm glad i got out when i did!

I'm not familiar with that kind of stuff. The only thing I know in relation with the phrase "earning money from posting" is in forums. I mean, some new forums are hiring individuals that can post or create interesting threads at their forums because it will attract new Internet users to join their forums and participate actively.

Agreed.. I personally run contests at my forum to promote users to post valuable stuff in means of building the forums up and making it more resourceful.

Paying members to post isn't a bad idea.. But to think of it, members will be posting for the sake of money not for the sake of helping those in need..

I agree with regmac, paying to post is not very good, you usually end up with poor quality post.

You're right, but I guess it's part of their deal. I mean, the owner of a forum will hire "qualified" individuals to create "quality" threads and posts to make his/her forum lively. ;)

If you can have a good forum poster then the work will be good, most people look for getting people who are cheap and then they stat complaining for quality. Quality can never be bought cheap.

Yah I believe so, it has seemed to work so far for me on my webmaster forums.

Definately have found that in the past. Most PTP forums have low quality posting (in terms of use of english and the pointlessness of the post)
