Thread: Traffic or Content ?

Who is the King ? Traffic or content ? Its possible to have traffic to a site that is not unique so how can we say content is King? Discuss ?

Content is king if you want quality traffic which is highly targetted and will actually have the potencial to earn you money IMO.

I have an Rss site that gets around 1500 unique a day but the traffic im getting is for a totally different niche imo.

Its a soccer site but most searches are girls searching for pic's of a certain player lol, kind of defeats the object of having the site , if i could monetise that traffic better then id be happy.

I would like to know more of that site How did you set up the rss feature?

You can use WP-O-Matic wordpress plugin and server CRON to fetch the feeds automatically , you can also do other things like adding the All in one SEO pack.

The Image resizer and renamer to make the images look unique to google, i havent got these installed but i know ive seen it which is a good mod.

Also SH-autolinker, its a wordpress plugin that you can name a keyword for example "World cup" , now everytime "world cup" is written in one of the RSS posts it automatically links to the category "world cup". I have this set up for all categorys and also some incontent links for my other sites too. Great for internal linking and great for SEO

Content is the King, if you have a unique content for sure you will have many visitors and it will give you traffic.

i think both....because, even if how great the content of the of the site, if there's no traffic, it's useless...
