Thread: “Stars” – Google’s latest service to substitute bookmarks

Whether someone likes the information found on a website or he just needs what that site is offering in the future, bookmarks are something anybody uses.

With Google Bookmarks an individual can have its bookmarks wherever he is, with just a login to his account, but it seems Google wanted more, so it released Stars, a new bookmarking service.

This might become handy for the ones that on average do a Google search instead of typing the website address to get into that very website. With this Stars method users can save their results for future suggestions. Whenever they make the same search, the “stared” page will appear up at the top of results.

This service comes as a substitute for SearchWiki.
