Thread: Big SUV Hybrids

Cadillac now has an Escalade hybrid that's supposed to deliver 50% better fuel economy. Not as good as a Prius, mind you, but a heck of a lot better than the big SUV is in regular form. At some point I expect the technology will filter down to the Chevrolet Suburban that it is based upon.

Which makes me wonder, why doesn't GM build Hummer H2 hybrids? Wouldn't it be kinda funny to see the personification of environmental evil wearing a little green leaf badge and sucking down half the gas? It certainly would be progress. And it would help keep Hummer owners from getting their cars spit on. :)
