I have installed IG Shop on Windows XP. I manually entered two manufacturers into the database using PHPAdmin. When I go to the IG Shop admin section, the manufacturers show up so apparently the database is being read. I cannot, however, add any data whatsoever.

In the auth.php and admin/auth.php I *must* use "localhost" "root" "", else nothing is read.

I'm not keen on using the "" (blank) password but that is all that is working. What kind of encryption is IG Shop using? If I can match it in the DB perhaps that would help.

Lastly, on the home page only the "home" link works on top.

Can anybody help? :(
