Smile Hello - I hope you don't mind a gardener?

    :D

Hi all, I am a keen home gardener, loves growing my own veggies and flowers - and everything in nature!

I'm quite a keen amateur artist and photographer of everything green, growing and living in my little patch.

Somehow managed to muddle my letters - so hey forgive me ..

    Growsurown :)

    Hi Temi

I have purple sprouting broccoli, leeks, onions, garlic, celeriac, pak choi, mizuna, broad beans, jerusalem artichokes, brussel sprouts and rainbow chard on the grow at the moment.

I have sown my sweet peppers, cucumbers and melons for this year and have good germination, although they are housebound until the weather warms up enough to put them out or in the mini-growhouse.

I also have lots of flower seeds on the go, and many more to get started but I run out of space due to my over enthusiatic approach!

I wish enthusiast is transferable, I would have asked you to send some to me by email.
My wife is the better gardener in my household, I play the supporting role, we have a large garden, section of it was designated for planting veggies which my wife has done.
The only thing I like growing is sweetcorn, I am waiting for the right time to sow the seeds.

Lots of ladies enjoy growing and nurturing things!

Bit of a wait for the sweetcorn, but there is nothing nicer than picking them fresh and cooking within 20 mins is there? I hope we get a decent summer and maybe they will be ready end of August rather than September this year.

I enjoy courgettes and summer squash, they too seem much nicer home grown. Mind you I think everything does (but then I would say that :-) )

Things are definitely nicer home grown, you know exactly where it comes from; your back garden :)

This is great! It really shows me where to expand my blog. I think that sometime in the future I might try to write a book to go along with my blog, but we will see…Good post with useful tips and ideas
