I have never tried them but wouldnt think it would be that hard for search engines to detect. A four way link would be better where both parties have a site they are linking too and from. Even then it would be better if all sites were on different subnet ranges.

I am second on that.

I will never go for triangular series. I mean, 3 way linking.

Better go for one way link, much better in longer run.

Recently, a real estate group did that[not purposely] But one of them read about backlink dogma and applied it blindly.

Guess what, caught up by google [super cop] the whole group got banned from Google. So be aware of that.

You are righ about one way link being the best bit 3 way linking if done correctly can be exellent.
I have been using 3 way linking for about 3-4 year, never had any problems.

Then I must say, you are playing SAFE! ATB

One should always play safe, doing anything excessively is bad, if done in moderation you should get good backlink boost.
