I heard that the MSN search engine isn't doing as well as Microsoft planned, anyone know why?

Why would you say it is doing bad?
I'm pretty sure its doing just as good if not better than anyone anticipated.

The single thing I like about microsoft is the ads on UK tv for the new MSN Search... but that doesn't mean I will use it...
Even if Safari didnt have a built in Google Search thin, I would still use Google. Yahoo is more of a general site than a serch engine although admittedly, google is going that way too with Blogger and so-on...

MSN search engine isn't doing as well as Microsoft planned. Yes it is happening because there aren't much people who use MSN search engine. Also It's not as Google. In Google, there is google adsense and you get paid to search. But this is not in MSN.


MSN Search is already one of the most popular search sites on the web. But in terms of brand recognition, it's an entirely different story. Google is so tightly associated with search that some use its name as a synonym for search. In contrast, even MSN admits some people may not realize how they ended up doing a search at its service.

I don't think it happens, but if it is they will definitely sort it out.
