I have a wordpress blog on my site, but want to add some plugins off the wordpress site.

I have absolutely no idea how to do this.

Could someone explain really simply to me what I would have to do (and I mean REALLY simply)

Here is how to go about it.
1. Place a link to www.temi.co.uk on your blogroll (this is a joke
1a. You need to download the plugin from its source, upload it to you word press site , when you access your word press site via ftp you will see many folder, look for one called :
wp-contents , expand that folder and you will see other folder including one called
plugins , upload the plugins you have downloaded to that folder.

2. Now login to you word press admin panel, click on plugin tab to open the plugin management (see attached image).
All you need to do now is click the activate button and you plugin should be working.

It really is a walk in the aprk to istall WP plugins.

I am afraid it didn't go well. I thinkit is something to do with my not having an API key. I will have to speak to our internet people and find out if something is different about it!
