Thread: PHP6 is on its way

Information about proposed PHP6 which was agreed in Paris in 2005 are beginning to emerge gradually.
PHP programmers are beginning to prepare their applications to be compatible with PHP6.

Do you work with PHP? Have you started making you applications PHP6 compatible?

I think there still is some way till php6.

Compatible applications ? I`d say it is more about making programming easier and more clear. Usage of classes and families and so on...

i'm php learner and now i'm learning from institute. I am geting hugs problems.

most of the syntax of php6 is same as of php5

Alot of the features that were supposed to be in PHP 6.0 are already in PHP 5.3: namespaces, late static binding, etc. The one thing I'm looking forward to the most in PHP 6.0 is the unicode support, so that we no longer have to use external libraries like mb*.

they just add some new functions..
fixed some bugs thats all..

php 6.0 will give much more power in hands of programmers by implementing much more functions.............. i thin so
