I was with Microsoft`s Adcenter a while ago, but I let my advertising lapse.

A month or so ago I got an email from them just to let me know of improvements to their program, and inviting me to take another look.

So, I thought that if they wanted the business they might perhaps offer me some sort of incentive. I sent in a Support Ticket asking them if they`d like to credit my account so I could try them out again.

I was pleasantly surprised to get a reply telling me they`d applied a £50 credit to my account with immediate effect.

Nice PR touch by MS, and it gave me £50 of free advertising, even I don`t decide to top up again with my own funds.

Moral of the story - sometimes it pays to be cheeky, or - if you don`t ask you don`t get. :D
