Default Improve loading time of your page

I think that all of you have heard the the loading time of your web page is one of the factor that affect the PR and SERP. So how can we improve the loading time of our page? Here are some ideas I can give you:

    1) Reduce the white space around your images. There are many images around the internet that contain a huge white space around the actual image content.
I think that many of us use Photoshop to edit the images. The best way after creating your image is to use the option Safe for Web & Devices when you are saving the image. First of all use the Gif and a depth of color of 16. If the image does not have lots of tones and colors then it should be enough. You can also use the websnap feature under the gif settings to further refine the colors chosen by shrinking the selection down further. Even better you can manually remove colors from the gif palette by drag and dropping? each color patch (from the color table section) into the trash. It may take a little longer, but you get the most optimum color palette for better compression and avoid Photoshop from changing your chosen colors at the same time.
If your image have a lot of tones and colors then you should try JPEG and play around with the numbers of color depth.

Yeah, site speed has been added as one of the "minimal" factors to consider for good rankings on search engine results pages. Notice the quotes inserted. This addition is nothing compared to those highly observe factors that most, if not all, webmasters, SEOs and SEMs are wary about.

Indeed, but you will see that this factor will be take into consideration more and more, and in this way we will return to the discussion from 1-2 years ago, that is for example having a domain .co.uk hosted on a UK based server will rank better in Search Engines.

i think using images with low size can also help to load your site faster, also using flash banner or ads can be the reason in slowing your site's loading,,,,,
