Default 25 ways to get penalized in 2012

Day by day SEO is becoming smarter and more complicated. Sujan Patel from searchenginejournal has made a list where he included 25 ways to get penalized in 2012:

    1. Cheap spam links. Nowadays you can find many websites that offer a lot of backlinks at low prices. Unfortunately the quality of such links very low too.
    2. Paid links that pass PR. If you buying links be sure that they use nofollow tag. And remember that paid links violate Google’s Webmaster Guidelines.
    3. Link exchanges. Google can identify that your website use link exchange method which violate Webmaster Guidelines too. Be sure to use 3-way link exchange when partnering with other websites.
    4. Hiding links in CSS, JavaScript…. Google’s bot become more advanced every day and nowadays bot can understand different file types.
    5. Low distribution of anchor text. Don’t use only targeting keywords in your anchor text. According to the Penguin update, percent of targeting keywords must not exceed 50-60.

Thanks for the source, I guess they missed out 'Over anchor text optimisation' penalty, And I don't think that links from foreign sites will lead to penalty from Google.

Yes, they violate webmaster guidelines. So, if you are making link exchange, use 3-way exchange.

I agree that SEO become more and more difficult day by day.Low quality backlinks are considered as spam and foreign language sites whose contents doesn't match with the sites content then that links are considered as low quality links that is spam links.I know all that points but summarize them in one post really helps alot to me.
