Twitter search service on the way

Twitter now putting together a robust search service that may help them get that news out faster and more efficiently than Google. Twitter Search, which currently searches only the text of Twitter posts, will soon begin to crawl the links included in tweets and begin to index the content of those pages.

This will make Twitter Search a much more complete index of what's happening in real time on the Web and make it an even more credible competitor to Google Search for people looking for very timely content.

Sounds interesting.....and couple possibly be the competition that google needed, Purely because of Twitters already huge following it could turn huge

i don't think twitter can compete Google but they are getting popular rapidly.

Twitter will become very strong and powerful copared with Google Search. Twitter has the potential in gaining a great success in credible conpetitor to Google.
