Using 301 Redirects
Hello all,
Can anyone tell me if sending links from one site to another new website helps serps or gets your site penalised?
The topic is different but they are good links built over a year. I have redirected them to a new page hoping that google gives me a boost in the rankings.
Is this a good idea?

Did you use 301 redirect to forward the links?

Yes I did. It is the 4th time I have redirected my links each time I have a new site. Each time after about 2-3 weeks the new site gets high ranking and the site that has lost the links drops out of its ranking.
I am worried that this constant shifting will get me dropped from serps and without good position in serps there is no advertising money.
But I have done it again and hope this doesn't penalise me as the links are really good and built up over a year so they have age too which is an seo plus.
Do you think google will penalise me if I use this old site as a links site?

IMHO, Google will not penalize unless until it is not a link farm.
