Thread: SEO (Links) for my Subdomains

Hey Everyone

I am not new to web design or SEO, but I am definitely not an expert. I have made a website for myself, and I have made 100 different subdomains of the website (for different cities)

My question is which is the best way to promote these subdomains? The usual ways of doing this are obviously limited because of having the same master domain. Does anyone know anyone that provides unique back links for a fair price, or any other way to get links back to all of these subdomains without getting into the problem of having a link to all of these subdomains from the same url or not being able to add a link because one of my subdomains url is not unique?

You promote a sub domain excactly the way you promote a domain name, nothing is different between a domain and sub domain from the viewpoint of most search engines

Gordon, temi is right. In terms of promoting a subdomain Google, Yahoo! and BING will see it as an entirely different domain to your main URL. This means that you will need to sit down and plan an SEO strategy X 100 and work to find overlaps which will save you time and effort when it comes to building links, promoting your site and creating content.
