Thread: Aged domain name and SEO

What is the gravity of aged domain name to SEO result of a website in today serach. We all know that domain name and its age is one of the contributing factors for good SEO of a website. Any aged domain name with rich keyword is a great success and good ranking factor for search engine result. This has been in the official search algorithms of all major search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo for a long time, but am not sure if aged domain name still have this factor in today's algorithms.

Aged domain name says that two things:-

1. The age of the website
2. The length of time a domain has been registered

That point are come under the SEO:-

*. well-established sites have old domain names, so by reverse logics, an old domain should mean that the site is well established.

Site Age is between the most important things when talking about SEO, that doesn't mean that you can't do your job with a new site, just means that your job will be much easier with an aged site.

A good domain name should not exceed 67 characters. Look for a reputed service provider to host your URL. Register your URL for a few years instead of one year. Your website will leave a good and lasting impression on Google.

I agree with Meme in that aged domain names will make the job easier compared to new domain names.

It's never so like you are talking. Sometimes aged domains can only harm. To my mind if you are making something fresh you should use fresh and new ingridients
