Using webmaster tools

This one is very important for getting informations about your site. Google will "tell you" some of the "secrets" of your site when you submit your site to Google Webmaster Tools.

The webmaster tools can be used for many things, you can check some search strings for which you get traffic, you can see the external and internal links, you can see the status of your sitemap and so on.

Personally I use Webmaster Tools very much on creating my reports and doing research.

I checked webmaster tools and was surprised to see the inclusion of F words and porno being used in anchor text links going to our site. We surely didn't generate these. I understand it goes with the territory but still! You work long hours to do everything the right way and then see that someone has done this. I know that I am not alone here.
