How useful do you find Webmaster Tools from Google ?

Do you add your website to Webmaster Tools ? Do you find Webmaster Tools useful ? What does Webmaster Tools offer you as an extra - some informations you cannot find everywhere else ?

All these questions should bring out interesting answers. Personally, I do submit my websites to webmaster tools from Google because I have better control over some functions. Also, there are options to monitor if the website has been infected with badware ( in case I use an open source CMS ), to see the status of sitelinks, see the indexed pages, status of sitemap and so on.

I do not follow the search strings, though, because i feel there are other tools to do that better with. Sometimes, I am not even interested in the search strings and the positioning, I do have Analytics installed and it is so easy to just type in the string in google.com.

Well, google webmaster tool help me identify duplicate pages and it also help me check those error pages.
