Hello
FaceBook allows its users to connect with each other and share information by posting online profiles, including personal information and photographs, and then connecting to other users who share common experiences and interests.
Here are the top 3 way to promote your business in Facebook
1. Profile page
The first think that you will create on Facebook is your profile page. Your profile page is basically a landing page that you create in order to attract friends and possible business partners.
2. Facebook groups
Groups are oldest and simplest way to build community around your brand or company on Facebook. By starting a group, you create a central place for customers, partners, and friends to participate in conversations around your brand. Facebook groups come with boards for posting discussion topics, photos, videos, and links right out of the box.
3. Facebook pages
Pages were launched by Facebook in November 2007 as a way for businesses of many types to easily establish a brand presence on Facebook. Pages are a lot like groups, with a important difference: pages are more customizable than groups. You can add HTML, Flash, or even Facebook applications to your pages to extend their functionality and the depth of experience users can have with your brand.

I am simplifying matters here for clarity: Travel is a social activity. Facebook is a social neworking site. Just like you would (if you would) trawl for clients in a pub, you need to identify your potential clients and then engage with them in a social manner. The marketing has to appear to be almost incidental otherwise it will not work very well for you.
