Here are some method for bringing some extra-revenue from a blog or specific website:

1. Hire as blogger for a corporate website
2. PayPal donations.
3. Sell ads on your blogs if your visitors' number is high.
4. Create some eBooks and sell them through the blog.
5. If you have the appropriate expertise, run a seminar/workshop.
6. Some bloggers ( not any blogger ) offer consultancy at fees ranging to 150 pounds/hour. Do the math. :)
7. With a high PR and high visitors' number you could publish some paid guest post related to your niche...
8. Offer paid premium membership.
9. Google Adsense - simplest way, though annoying for readers
10. Paid reviews.

However, consider these only when your blog is popular, so working a lot before involving into monetizing is a must...

My take.

1. When you know you are highly exceptional. Don't dare when you got no bullet.
2. Less success. But if you're not shy to make it loud, might be good.
3. Not a magic. Hardwork needed. Dedication. Persistence. No procrastination. Prominent bloggers earn a lot this way.
4. Check that grammar and spelling. And don't forget you need to establish your online reputation first. Check no. 1.
5. If you don't know where to get members, make use of your social networking friends. Got facebook?
6. This is rare. Refer to no. 1 and 4.
7. With a high PR and high visitors' number you could publish some paid guest post related to your niche... Forget being paid for the guest post, exposure and some additional traffic to your site is enough. Don't forget no. 9.
8. Offer paid premium membership. Only applicable to highly popularized sites. There is no harm in trying though.
9. It's the craze. Don't forget the alternatives. As Darren says, "Chitika is my second revenue source."
10. Don't do it. Not unless it's four figures.
