Apple iPhone 5 release date set. 21 of September

iPhone 5 was introduced in San Francisco by company senior vice president Phil Schiller. Shipping on September, 21 in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore. iPhone 5 is the thinnest smartphone with a depth of 7.6mm and it weighs only 112 grams and 20% lighter than iPhone 4.



'It's designed and built to an exacting level of standard unlike anything we, or anyone in our industry, have made before.' –Phil said.

The video display now closer to 16:9. 8 megapixel camera allows for recording video in 720 HD. The official release will be available in five colours –black & slate, white & silver, blue, yellow, pink.

It has a new connector, which in turn requires an adapter for the old version, that itself costs £39.

I will be buying the new iPhone, I have iPhone 3, I skip upgrading to any of the 4 series, lets see if 5 is significanly better than my iPhone 3.
Its quite interesting, the queue outside Apple store in Covent Garden has been started by two guys who want to ensure they are the first in line, they are hoping to buy a few iPhone 5 so that they can sell it on for profit to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
