Default How to change Squidoo links from nofollow to do follow

Recently created lenses usually get stuck in Work In Progress mode (check the lens on your Squidoo dashboard - if there isn't a green tick next to its lensrank then it's still in WIP). When you create a fresh lens Squidoo thinks you are still working on it. Then to avoid just spammy lenses squidoo adds NO FOLLOW initially.

While in WIP mode the lens links are nofollow. It usually takes the daily lensrank update to get it out of this mode and for the links to become follow.
To speed up the process: Try adding few more text modules and Edit few times your lens over next few hours. If the green check mark is showing in the dashboard, the page is dofollow.

At your Squidoo dashboard if the lens has a green tick next to its lensrank then the links will be dofollow. If otherwise, its a line instead of a tick then the lens is in WIP status and the links will be nofollow.

Nice one, I am a big fan of using Squidoo, and they are constantly improving their interface, which makes it a great platform to use for web 2.0

Squidoo is terrible but it gets traffic. It should be employed as an additional search engine boost and link back to your site. Include your RSS link there and you've got a page which is constantly updated. It will help so it should not be ignored, even though it's far from pretty.

Thanks for that tip with RSS link David, haven't thought about that. :)

Squidoo is also widely used lately for link wheels, people say it's quite a good method for creating strong links.
