Thread: What exactly is Squidoo?

I already have a Squidoo lens, but i got confused about the type of this social medium, i even asked some guys on Squidoo forums but still get confused.

So what do you think about the best definition that fits Squidoo? please go on and define it

This might sound sarcastic but if you really are doing Squidoo lenses then you should got stumbled already with their What is Squidoo page here http://www.squidoo.com/squidoo.

Squidoo can also consider as blogging but in a more different approach. It's like posting your interests to persuade others to do too.

Yeah. I think those who have a lot of time to waste can actually progress in Squidoo posting. But you can also insert links for your site between your posts there.

Squidoo is a website designed to make it easy for anyone, for free, to set up a single page on a topic he or she knows or cares a lot about.

i think it was design where you can post like in blog or classifieds, where you can promote your site through your lens :D

I do not know how to go about getting traffic to my lens and how to keep it fresh.

Any ideas?
