Internship UK sucks!!! it was a fucking nightmare..but not a scary nightmare, mostly a stupid nightmare. everywhere people having stress because they were afraid someone would spend bad words about the reputation of Internship Uk or studios92. But even "reputation" is a word too important to be referred to Internship Uk or studios92. NO FOOD, NO RESPECT for the interns that must work without any salary, too many interns for one only company (around 60 INTERNS in New Romney, and I guess thre is NOTHING LEGAL with that), never ending PSYCO PRESSURE from the HR department, interns that must write lies , FALSE INTERVIEWS about hotels where they have never been IN, and "dulcis in fundo", BEDBUGS AND DOG FLEAS in our beds!!! A lot of interns got BITES from those insects, and some others were suspected to have got the SCABIES!!! During my last days in that shit place the chef that were supposed to cook for the company left us, and instead of call another chef, they pretended us, THE INTERNS TO COOK FOR EVERYONE, when interns had no experience at all about the kitchen. In fact 2 interns REFUSED TO COOK AND THEY GOT FIRED!!! I asked for a certificate, and I wanted it as soon as possible since I needed it to apply for a next job. They told me I could get it in 1 week instead of the 2 weeks I was supposed to wait for, but I had to pay for it. And I payed 15 pound, and I got it AFTER ONE MONTH!!!! What do you think about this place now? Why doesn't the POLICE go to check what's going on in New Romney at the STUDIOS92 (alias Internship UK) ????

Hi everydoby,

My name is Thomas and I am a french student.
I would like to tell you that all the things people told before are the TRUTH !!
All is a fake with Internship-uk.com !!
I think it's very important for me to write this article because all the previous articles are old. But the situation is the same actually !! in 2012 !!
I should write 10 pages about internship-uk and at what point it's the worst experience and internship of my life !!
I will just resume you my story.
I am in third year in a business school in Paris, and I had to realize an internship in a foreign country. I had difficulties to find an internship and I decided to use a website to help me : Internship-uk.com
At the beginning, I asked to do my internship in London, like it was suggested on their website, but few time after, they told me "all the posts are occupied but you can do an internship in New Romney in marketing if you want". Like I had not times to find an other solution, I accepted. (you have to know that there is not internship in london ...they lie ! or maybe there is 2 real propositions ).
So my internship was supposed to be in Studio-solution, a web design company based in New Romney.
For me, and for most of people I think, internship-uk was just a free website wich find you an internship in UK.
I discovered the truth the first day of my internship. There was absolutely no Studio-solution office ! there was only internship-uk.com office !! I was totaly lost and did'nt know what to do ...
Like I had already paid them for the food and the hotel (and yes ...we pay all this to the compagny !) I decided to stay and to see what will happen.
I was afraid too to lose my third year if I stopped my internship because it was a part of it and it was required!

During 1 month, they gave me stupid task like : do quizz, write article on different blogs touting internship-uk or just write artcles with key word to attract more people and guide them to the internship-uk website !
I did'nt learn NOTHING !
We was treated like shit, they had no respect for us.

In addition, most of the internship they suggest on their website doesn't exist ... they just tell that to attract a maximum of people !
some mates I met during this internship was suppose to do a Marketing internship and was in the recruitment departement and answered to the call ( so when you call internship uk for a meeting to find a internship ... it's someone like you who answered and ask you questions.). This was their Internship ! to answer the call and tell you a lot of good things about New Romney, the internship....This is SCANDAlOUS !!

And I don't talk to you about the two dogs' manager ! and the pleasant sessions of playing with balls and frisbee IN THE OFFICE. Very good work conditions !

We was 20 intern in this company ... and only 3 real employees... You know why ? because we all paid aroud 1 000 pounds per month for the food, the house ...
If I calculate : 20 * 1 000 = 20 000 pounds ...
After paid food and bills...I am sure they gain a lot of money with us....

So this is the fraud ... you pay for you internship and you work to recruite more and more people to replace you when you leave ! and you learn nothing !

After 1 month, I decided to call my school and to say the truth about internship-uk.
Fortunately, they trust me and ask me to leave.
In the same time, like I started to complain a little about this situation, the tried to find a solution to fire me ... so the told me that I was a stealer and I stole food in the office fridge ...(whooohouuu ... bred, 1 yogurt and maybe 1 juice....whereas we paid for that ... so stupid !!)
I decided to leave and they threatened me to call my school and tell that I was a stealer etc....
One more time, fortunately, my school trusted me.

You have to know the others names of this company : Internship-uk, Studio-solution, Studio 92 ( they changed the name and called it TRAVELTURA : a web booking agency)

So please, BE CAREFUL about internship uk !! tell that to all people you know or are looking for an internship !!
