In the age of online marketing international trade and global economics it is no-surprise that the shift has moved away the people being dependent on a singular brand or product.

Today more customers are concerned with the service they are provided with,.

You can sell an inferior product and still get satisfied customers with a good service. Likewise you can have customer complaints at the best product in the world due to the bad service provided by staff.

Service marketing believe it or not has become the dominant form of trade in the western world. It is the benchmark of how to build up clients partners relationship with customers and how to establish a brand today

Service marketing is mainly all dependent on the service encounter. All aspects are built up around the service encounter, a good service whether on a website or face to face can change the whole perspective on your organization.

For instance if i was to invite a customer to a superior hotel and provide a bad service, the customer is going to complain and the reputation of the whole company will suffer.

If i was to introduce a customer a less superior hotel, but made sure that i looked after the customer and provided a good service the customers is more likely going to have a positive experience.

When using services remember the 1:49 ratio,
That for everything good service a customer will tell one person about it.
For every bad service or experience a customer will tell 49 people about it.
