i often prefer building most relevant high pr links first..that helps in quick indexing ..
i generally go for mix of high/low pr..follow /no follow links /day..low amount for first couple of months..and then i gradually step up the game..i often use senike ..its best tool i guess..but should be used very carefully to keep it legit..trying my hand around scrapbox,,but not impressed at all..manual posting still rox...

i agree with everything above.

get a couple hundred links and you will be in good shape. you really need to have a budget or method to obtain more and more links on a regular basis or you will see your rankings slide.
